The TSSS are hosting a fun weekend for members this year, we are also celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Scottish TS Group. Our first meeting was held in February 1988 in the Genetics Dept of Yorkhill. That day 28 families attended many of them still keep in touch today. We think it is well worth celebrating 25 years on. So we thought we would throw a party. Everyone is welcome, friends, mums, dads, brothers, sisters, grannies of all ages are welcome to join us. We hope to see some old friends and welcome some new ones too.
You can join us for the whole weekend or you can stay for the Friday or Saturday night only, or just join the party, whatever suits your needs and budget. There is no formal programme instead there is the option to spend the day at Xscape, Braehead, Glasgow. There is lots to do, you can snow board, rock climb, go bowling, to the cinema, soft play for the kids. Lots of places to eat. Just next door there is an indoor shopping centre with lots of shops and restaurants. Have a look at the website www.Xscape.co.uk/Braehead it is 5 minutes by car or you can get a no 23 bus from outside the hotel door.
Or you could visit Glasgow and all it has to offer. It is just half an hour away. The hotel is close to the airport with local train and bus links available to all of the places we have suggested above. There is a lot to do and the choice is yours.
The hotel has a beautician available we suggest you book an appointment early as she may well be popular.
The hotel does not have a pool but, you are welcome to use the facilities at their sister hotel the Erskine Bridge it is just a 10 minute drive away. Look at the website for details.
On the Friday Arlene will be available in the hotel to welcome you in our meet and greet room from 1pm. We can have a cuppa and a chat. The hotel has a lovely restaurant and spacious bar area for us to meet and chat. There are numerous places to eat at Xscape too.

On the Saturday morning you are free to do whatever you have chosen to do. We will be on hand in the meet and greet room to help you with directions or just have a natter. In the evening we will have a party to celebrate our 25th Anniversary of the Scottish TS Group with a lovely three course meal followed by music and dancing and lots of surprises throughout the night.
On Sunday morning after breakfast we will have the chance to get together in the meet and greet room for a chat and an opportunity to say our goodbyes.
The best thing about the TSSS is our members who are warm, caring and friendly people who so enjoy being together. It is a chance for the girls to giggle and have fun. For the mums to have a good old natter and for the ladies to swap stories, the dads can enjoy a pint. All this and the chance to have some fun too.
