News from the TSSS

Hello All,

My name is Amanda Mcgowan and along with Ella Phillips we are proud to announce the start of the TS Essex Friendship Group. I am parent of Grace age 16 who has TS and Ella is a young lady with TS who is also a member of the TSSS committee, we both live in Essex.

We are very much hoping to arrange a few get togethers each year as we are very aware that our girls and ladies benefit greatly from spending time with each other having fun, a chat and offering support.

We would like our first gathering to be an informal getting to know each other occasion so have chosen a picnic in Great Notley Park, Braintree on Saturday 23rd September from 11am until 3pm. Here’s the link for Great Notley http://www.visitparks.co.uk/places/great-notley-country-park/ There’s lots to play on for the little ones, Sky Ropes for the older ones and a nice cafe for the rest of us! ;-)

We do hope you can make it, if you can please let us know by e-mail or on the Essex Friendship Facebook page which will be set up shortly. If you are not able to make this one but would like to be notified of any future events could you let us know that also.

Looking forward to meeting you soon,

Amanda and Ella
