Dear member Some pre-conference information you might find useful. Kind regards Sharon and Bob Directions to the hotel by car from the M6 at jcn 28 & M61 at jcn 8 Motorway then follow the brown tourist signs to Parkhall/Camelot it is easy to find. Bear in mind that often the Sat Nav takes you off the motorway early and through the small villages. The hotel is just above Charnock Richard Service Station. The directions from the hotel website seemed most concise. Website www.parkhall-hotel.co.uk there is ample car parking at the hotel. Directions to the hotel by train are that the nearest train station is Chorley which is 4 miles away and a taxi from the train station is approx £7, TAXI COMPANY – COOPERS - 01257 261666. The Taxi Rank is situated opposite the train station at the bus station. There is a local bus from the station that runs one an hour. Preston is 10 Miles away and a taxi from Preston will cost approx £15 or £20 depending on traffic. If you know other people attending this would be a good time to get together and share a taxi or travel together. If you want to let me know your expected time of arrival at the station? I could let you know if there is an other members arriving at the same time. There is NO CASH POINT facility at the hotel. No shop is available on site, the nearest shop is at Charnock Richard Services or Tesco (24 hrs) a 10 minute drive away. It also helps to bring along a few of their own toys to play with. Sunday am all children to be dropped off at the Eccleston Room with the choice of going to the fun –mini cinema to watch a family film. Or free play for those that prefer not to watch the film. Don’t forget your ticket, popcorn and juice will be provided. Followed by a fun filled show by JONO the Magician to end the weekend. Info for TEENS Hi girls! Hope you’re all well, and looking forward to conference! As most of you know, the theme for the show this year is ‘Take This TSSS’. The songs you need to be familiar with are ‘Greatest day’ and ‘Rule the world’. We are also doing a very simple dance routine to ‘The Time’, by the Black eyed peas. During drama and rehearsals on Saturday, please wear comfy, easy to move in clothes and flat shoes. Dance rehearsals will be on the Friday night for those who are there, and on the Saturday.
